Character
Apollo is a good-hearted man unafraid of monsters, serving as a dedicated father while protecting his family. He has a middle-aged appearance with dark skin, brown eyes, black and gray hair, a beard, and glasses.
Apollo is a good-hearted man, he tries his best to be a good father to Clawdeen, even though sometimes it doesn't go perfect. Unlike most humans, he isn't afraid of monsters, to the point he married a werewolf. But Apollo is aware of how the other humans see monsters, so he had to literally hide his family from the rest of the world in order to keep them safe.
He is a middle-aged man with dark skin, brown eyes and black and gray hair and a beard. He also wears glasses.
Relationships
Apollo met and married werewolf Selena, raising their daughter Clawdeen alone after her disappearance. He later reunites with Clawd and shares a close bond with both children and their pet Crescent.
In the animated TV series, Apollo is a monster researcher, this led him to meet werewolf Selena. Although monsters avoid humans at all costs, Selena and Apollo fell in love. With her ability to transform at will, she moved in with Apollo in the human and they had Clawdeen. When Clawdeen was 5, Selena had to leave for a monster task for the council and got trapped in Beheme, but her family didn't know it. Apollo had to raise Clawdeen on his own. But Apollo never gave up on Selena, he kept looking for her and always had hoped that she would come back.
Apollo and Clawdeen have a great father-daughter relationship. Clawdeen grew up to love monsters and to research them, like her father, but her uncommon interests make her an outcast among other humans, all other humans shunned her and made her feel like she didn't belong among them. Apollo is the only human who accepted Clawdeen the way she is. But he never told her about her mother'd true kind. He gave Clawdeen Selena's moonclaw talisman, which Selena left behind for Clawdeen, on her 15th birthday. He was planning on telling his daughter the truth the same night. But the Mortimer (G3) arrived his house with an enchanted letter, Apollo realized Clawdeen found Monster High (G3) on her own and didn't take the letter so he could talk to her. Clawdeen and Apollo finally confessed their secrets to each other in "Werewolf Weekend", the became even closer after this.
In "Paw-zzle Pieces", it was revealed that Selena got trapped in a dimension called Beheme, where she discovered she was pregnant with Clawd Wolf (G3). Because time in Beheme passes 1.6 times faster than on Earth, Clawd grew up to be older than Clawdeen. When Clawdeen told Apollo about it, at first it sounded unbelievable to him. In "Over-Brotective" (after the events of "So Familiar"), Apollo and Clawd finally met in person, Apollo got so thrilled with emotions he fainted. When he woke up, he went to Clawd, saying he couldn't believe he missed his son growing up, and the two hugged. Apollo and Clawd immediately became close and found something in common: their knowledge in gadgets.
At some unknown point in time, the Wolf family bought a dog named Crescent (G3).

Apollo may be named after the Greek god of the sun, contrasting his wife Selena linked to the moon. He took his wife's last name Wolf upon marriage.
